Fort Worth noise and permits
Fort Worth updated its noise ordinance in April 2024. According to city materials and local reporting, amplified sound in the public right-of-way and on city property is prohibited except with an outdoor event permit, and the rules apply to outdoor events with amplified sound of any size.
