Loud is easy.
Even is hard.
Anybody can make a big crowd loud. The actual problem in large-format sound is that the front row and the back of the field are very different distances from the boxes. Solve it wrong and you punish the people down front to reach the people at the back — which is how events end up painful at one end and thin at the other.
Large format is a placement and processing problem before it's a wattage problem: how the boxes are arrayed and angled, how the low end is configured, and how the whole thing is time-aligned. That's the part experience buys you, and it's why this system is delivered with a crew rather than dropped off.
Even Coverage
The back of the crowd and the front row should hear the same show. Getting that right is the entire discipline.

How large a crowd can you cover?
The full Turbosound Floodlight system is rated to comfortably cover roughly 1,000 people. That is an honest number, not a marketing one. If your event is substantially larger we will tell you rather than under-spec it and hope.
What makes a PA "large format"?
Not just more boxes. Large format means the system is arrayed and angled to deliver even coverage across a long throw, with the low end configured as a designed section rather than a pile, and the whole thing time-aligned so it arrives together.
Do you rent line arrays?
What matters is the result — even coverage front to back at the volume your event needs. We will spec the configuration that achieves that for your site and headcount, and we will be straight with you about what the system can and cannot do.
Can I rent a large PA without a crew?
No, and you would not want to. At this scale, placement, arraying and alignment are the majority of the value — a large system set up wrong sounds worse than a medium system set up right, and it is a lot of weight to learn on.
What about power for a large system?
Large-format sound needs adequate, stable power, and field power is usually not what people assume. Tell us what the site has and we will work out distribution, and whether a generator is required, well before the day.
Does this include an engineer?
It should. At this scale the room or field changes measurably through the event — crowd density, temperature, wind — and somebody has to follow it. FOH and monitor engineering are available and strongly recommended.
