Day parties, unofficial showcases, side stages and brand houses all need a real PA during the one week every rental rig in Austin is spoken for. We're local, we're loud, and we've been doing live sound for 30 years.
Every rig in town,

SXSW 2027 runs March 15–21. That week, day parties stack up across East Austin, Rainey Street and every patio downtown, and out-of-town producers are all chasing the same local gear. Rental calendars fill long before the lineup is final.
Booking a local crew means no freight, no out-of-state truck, and someone who already knows the load-ins. You get Turbosound Floodlight tops over horn-loaded subs, set up and tuned, with an engineer available to run the day.
Day Parties
Patios, backyards and warehouses running noon to night. Real low end that still sounds clean after ten acts.
Unofficial Showcases
Multiple acts, fast changeovers, monitors so the bands can hear. Add an engineer to run it all day.
Side Stages
A second stage for your venue or event, specced to the space and the crowd you expect.
Brand Houses + Activations
Pop-ups and branded venues need sound that is loud when it should be and speech-clear when it matters.
Load-In Around The Chaos
Street closures and packed loading zones are part of SXSW week. A local crew plans around them.

During SXSW week (March 15–21, 2027) we only book our two biggest rigs, Let's Rumble and Earthquake, at double the standard rate. Outside SXSW week, all packages and standard rates apply. Multi-day and full-production SXSW jobs are quoted. Delivery beyond 15 minutes of downtown Austin: $2 per mile, added to the balance. Add a front-of-house sound engineer: $75/hr, 4-hr minimum. The 50% deposit locks your date and is non-refundable. If you need to change the date, we will move your deposit to another open date.

SXSW 2027 runs March 15–21, 2027 in Austin. Sound for day parties and showcases books up well before then, so lock your dates early.
Can you run sound for a full day of acts?
Yes. For showcases and multi-act day parties we recommend adding an engineer to run front of house and handle changeovers. Multi-day and full-production bookings are quoted.
Do you rent for multiple days during SXSW week?
Yes. The online packages cover a single 4–5 hour event. Multi-day and all-week rentals are quoted, since the price depends on travel, location, setup, breakdown and hours worked. Send the quote form.
How much does SXSW sound rental cost?
During SXSW week (March 15–21, 2027) we only book our two biggest rigs, at double our standard rate: Let's Rumble (six dual-18 horn-loaded subs and four 3-way Turbosound Floodlight tops) at $2,000, and Earthquake (Let's Rumble plus four dual-21 subs) at $3,200, for a single 4–5 hour event. A sound engineer is $150 per hour that week (normally $75). Multi-day bookings, long days, engineers and full production are quoted based on travel, setup, breakdown and hours.
