“What are your wedding DJ packages?” is a fair question, and a tricky one, because two weddings on the same Saturday can need completely different things. A 60-person ceremony on a lawn and a 250-person ballroom reception are not the same job.
So instead of forcing you into a box, we start with three building blocks and put them together.
Step 1: choose your coverage
Reception DJ
The most common choice. Your DJ and MC run the reception: entrances, toasts, dinner music, dancing and the send-off. Setup, soundcheck and breakdown are part of it.
Best for: couples with a ceremony that is already handled (a church, an in-house system or a small ceremony) and a party to run.
Ceremony + reception
The same crew handles both. Wireless microphones and music cues for the ceremony, then cocktail hour music and the full reception. One setup, one team, one timeline.
Best for: most Austin weddings, especially outdoors, where the ceremony has no house sound.
Full wedding production
For bigger or more complex days: more than one location, multiple sound zones (ceremony, cocktail, reception), added lighting, or longer hours. Quoted per job.
Best for: destination-style weekends, large guest lists, and weddings with several moving parts.
Step 2: choose the size of the sound
The sound system is sized to your room and your guest count. These are the same rigs we rent for parties and festivals.

Those prices are for our standard 4 to 5 hour rental with delivery within 15 minutes of downtown Austin, setup and breakdown. When the sound is bundled with the DJ, we quote the two together. Step 3: add what you need
- Extra hours. Longer receptions and after-parties.
- A sound engineer. For complex ceremonies, live music or larger rooms, a dedicated sound engineer at $75 an hour with a four-hour minimum.
- Extra locations. A second setup for a separate ceremony or cocktail area.
- Lighting. Quoted with the job.
- Live musician. Coordinate a live player alongside the DJ.
How pricing works
Wedding DJ bookings are quoted based on:
- The date (peak Saturdays cost more)
- The number of hours
- The number of locations
- The venue and the load-in
- The size of the sound system
- Travel outside Austin

The classic Saturday
Around 150 guests, ceremony and reception at the same venue. Ceremony audio plus a full reception with a DJ and MC, a mid-size sound package, a second wireless mic for the ceremony.
The Hill Country ranch

400 or more guests, several spaces or several days. Full production, an engineer running the sound, extended hours. Quoted per job.

No. Wedding DJ bookings are quoted by the date, the hours, the number of locations and the venue. We would rather price your day accurately than sell a package that does not fit.
Can we add lighting?
Lighting is available on request and is quoted with the job. Tell us what you have in mind.
What sound package do we need?
It depends on the room and the crowd. Our sound packages start at $600 and scale to about 1,000 guests. We will recommend one when we quote.
Can we change the hours later?
