Mo'Pro Crew started in DJ culture, not in a rental warehouse. Thirty years of playing records and throwing parties means we spec a DJ rig the way a DJ would: enough sub to hold a room, enough clean top end that hi-hats stay crisp at volume, and a booth monitor so you can actually hear what you're mixing.
The most common thing we get called about in Austin: a DJ whose gig outgrew their speakers. Two powered tops that were perfect for a 60-person bar do not cover 250 people in a warehouse on East 6th. That's the call to make a week out, not the day of.
Bar / Lounge
A pair of full-range tops and a sub, on sticks, out of the way. Clean at conversation volume and still has something left when the room turns into a dance floor.
Warehouse / Loft
More sub, more headroom, and careful placement so a reflective concrete box does not turn into mud. This is the Austin party rig.
Backyard / Outdoor
No walls means no help. Outdoor DJ sets need meaningfully more system than the same crowd indoors, especially below 80Hz. Specced accordingly.

How much does DJ sound system rental cost in Austin?
It comes down to how big a crowd you are covering, how long you need the system, and whether you want us to deliver, set up and tune it. Send the venue, date and headcount and you get a real number back rather than a range.
Do you set the system up before I arrive?
Yes, and this is the main reason DJs book us. We load in, position the tops and subs for the room, tune the system and leave you a clean stereo input at the booth. You show up, plug in, and sound check instead of building a PA.
Will it work with my controller or CDJs?
Yes. Pioneer, Denon, Traktor, Serato, a laptop with an interface — it all lands the same way. We provide the DI or the balanced input you need to get out of your setup and into the console cleanly.
Can I get a booth monitor?
Absolutely, and you should. Mixing off the front-of-house system means you are hearing everything late and out of phase. A dedicated booth wedge is the single cheapest upgrade to how your set actually sounds.
How many subwoofers do I need for a DJ set?
More than most people rent. For dance music the sub is not an accessory — it is the reason people stay on the floor. As a rough rule, if the room is over 150 people or outdoors, you want more low end than a single sub provides. We will spec it honestly.
Do you cover warehouse and backyard parties?
Yes, and those are the events where system choice matters most. Untreated warehouses are reflective and boomy; backyards have no walls at all and no low-end reinforcement. Same headcount, completely different rig. Tell us which one you have.
