Austin’s three biggest event weeks for sound are ACL in October, F1 weekend in late October and SXSW in March. Each brings thousands of visitors and a wave of private parties, after-parties and brand events, and sound gear gets scarce. If you are hosting anything near those dates, book as early as you know your date.

What “double rate” means
On premium dates, the Let’s Rumble package is $2,000 instead of $1,000 and the Earthquake package is $3,200 instead of $1,600, before sales tax and any mileage. Who books sound around these weeks
- Private after-parties hosted by individuals, bands or companies
- Brand activations in rented spaces, lots and patios
- Day parties with several acts
- Corporate hospitality for visiting clients
Each is a different job. A 150-person party is a Getting Bumping job at $600 on a normal date. A 1,000-person lot party is a Let’s Rumble job. The week you book it moves the price.

Why it matters to book early
Austin’s sound crews are stretched during these weeks. The equipment, the trucks and the crew exist in finite numbers. A host who calls the week of is competing with everyone else who did the same.

Book
Check open dates and book on our booking page. The 50% deposit locks your date and is non-refundable. If the date changes, we will move your deposit to another open date. The balance is due on the day.

No. We are not affiliated with ACL, F1 or SXSW. We rent sound to hosts of private parties, after-parties, brand events and other events happening around them.
How early should I book?
As early as you know your date. Online booking needs at least 2 days of notice, but busy weekends fill well before that.
