The Gilbert Grape water tower
An old water tower downtown is the landmark from the film What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Small community gatherings there need a portable PA and a couple of wireless mics, not a big rig.
New subdivisions and amenity centers
Wildhorse Creek, ShadowGlen and Stonewater are among the larger neighborhoods, with parks, a water park and a golf course. HOA amenity centers and pools host graduation parties and community events.
